Warning to all GA bonsai

Warning to all GA bonsai folks: I killed mine! But this time it wasn’t exactly my fault. I watered him at 0900 and came back to water it the next day at the same time and he was dead!!! I kept him on the front porch. This spot only receives direct sun for two hours in the afternoon. The adult trees in the yard were fine, but the little one couldn’t take it!
On the bright side, I refused to give up! I brought him inside, trimmed him down and continued to water him. He started to sprout again yesterday! Who’da thought I could ever revive anything???
