Newbie to the bonsai.
2007/07/05 16:03 Greetings. I recently bought a bonsai tree from a man who was passing through my small town. Fortunetly he was very helpfull by giving me a set of guidlines for me to follow.

But, it has only been about a week since I have obtained my bonsai tree, and it is already starting to brown. It is a smaller bonsai, one of the smallests the man had. And I have watered it enough to keep the soil moist. Just a light sprinkle here and there.

The man also gave me a liquid fertilizer called "Green Green." I wasn't too sure on how to use it properly so i just sprayed my bosai lightly with the formula. I then let it sink in with a little added water to help it spread.

I always keep my bonsai tree close to an open window with as much light as possible. But not too much light for the guidlines the man gave me said that medium to filtered light is recomended.

Could the browning on my bonsai be the result of something I am doing, or something else?

Please help me.

Sorry, these were the best pictures I could get.
