Introductions...
2005/09/27 00:59 Feel free to introduce yourselves... :)

My names Mike, Michael, and various other phrases. I'm a VoIP System Designer by day and a slacker by night. I also work out all the technical details for Merv's brainchild....BonsaiTree.com. Hopefully, it will see its full potential.

I grew up in Florida and have pretty much lived here all my life. Ready for a chance. I'm also into a lot of different things. Primarily music and art...and a little bit of everything else. It keeps me busy enough with things to do.

Jot down a few lines about yourself.

Re:Introductions...
2005/09/27 19:30 I am Paul. I live in Florida and I am a slacker unless their is work that needs to be done so I am not really a slacker. My hobbies in clude Bonsai, video games, drawing, when in MN printing, and thinking.

I have been doing Bonsai for about 2 years, a part of Merv's classes for 1 year, and part as the FBS for almost 1 year.

Here is one of my print works.

Enjoy!

Re:Introductions...
2005/09/28 00:59 Glad to have you guys around, some of the first members... I need to figure out a way to post images and allow a larger version to be available if you click on it... *makes note to self*

Why does it seem there's always more to do than there's time to do it in. :P Despite the site being as bare as it is, this site still seems to suck all of my time...

Btw, Nice work, MC.

Re:Introductions...
2005/09/30 14:09 Thanks MCProgrammer. I just want people to see how easy it it to turn material into good bonsai. Hopefully one day I will be much better than I am today and will show that anyone can do this great hobby.

Re:Introductions...
2006/04/06 06:22 Go by the name of Nigel, 72 years young, bonsai interests since 1985-6. Was a constructivist, that means painting in squares and circles, etc., ya knows what I mean.

Have about 300 trees and no space, live in Amsterdam, Holland.

Electronic and serial music is my flavour, speak only one language, this one, and at times use a ton of clean slang.

Aussie-born way back, and that's it.

Re:Introductions...
2006/09/05 20:47 Hey Victor. I have a buddy of mine that just moved up to Brooklyn to do the "starving artist" thing. How are things working out for you up there? Do you keep an online portfolio?

Re:Introductions...
2006/09/06 02:05 Hey,
I'll be sure to upload some paintings and drawings so you can see them.
I have some pretty good graphic design work too. If you interested in a website that I have designed and programed from logo to flash check out www.thearsenalinc.com. I'd be interested to see any other work of yours or your friends.
Thanks,
-Victor

Re:Introductions...
2006/09/10 03:34 Well, I don't really have any work that I'm particularly proud of that's online. I did the design for BonsaiTree.com but I haven't been able to invest the time that I feel it needs.

You can see some of my buddy's work at http://www.leftrightoutput.com

Re:Introductions...
2006/09/14 15:48 WOW. That work is painfully beautiful. Truly an arist.
-Victor

Also I really like the Bonsaitree.com look feel design and it just works great.
Your web work is far more advanced than mine, with emails and red lights and forums and all. Really a great job man.

Re:Introductions...
2006/09/21 23:28 I wouldn't mind having more time to put into it. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so there's still a lot on BT.com that's not quite how I'd like to see it...but it's working for now.
