Dawn redwoods
2008/03/09 20:59 I'm pretty new at taking care of a Bonsai, I bought a 7 tree grove of Dawn Redwoods last summer When the temps dropped below 10 degrees this winter I moved it in doors to keep it from dying it started getting leaves on it about a month ago and was doing fine and then the leaves started to wilt and fall off. I have been keeping it watered at least once a day. Is there anyone that might be able to tell me what I can do to correct my mistake if it isn't too late that is.

thanks,
mike

Re:Dawn redwoods
2008/04/05 01:52 Hello Mike,
Sorry about the delay. Redwoods are outdoor plants. Its a good possibility that you have over watered and Fungus is attacking the root system. If you spray with a Fungucide, and if your weather permits, place it outdoors in a semi-shade area, it will need some sun to allow it to recuperate. Do not allow it to completely dry out, Do not fertilize till you see new leaves appearing.
